Saccu vacanti nun po stari a’dritta

This is an installation made with discarded paintings on canvas that I collected over the last five years from art school trash bins in New York City. I have also incorporated recycled bottle caps into the installations to compliment the colors in the paintings. The title of this installation is a popular Sicilian proverb. (Translation: An empty sack can’t stand on its own).
